    to make it more clear:

    I had to make a bootable USB-Stick with that image, using the Dell Wyse Usb Imaging tool. Since this stick did not want to boot i had to follow this steps below (thanks to Mr Stiebritz from Dell):

    Sometimes the USB-Key is not bootable after the process, then do:
    • CMD -> as Administrator
    • Diskpart
    • List disk (to show all physical storage devices)
    • Select disk X (X should be your usb-key like shown in „list disk”)
    • List partition (to list all partitions)
    • Select partition X (to use/select the partition)
    • Active (to set the partition to active)
    • Exit (to exit diskpart)

    The support was really great – thanks again

    Solution was as follows:

    since nobody knows why this happened, i had to install the current merlin-image and make it work as expected. Now it is correctly shown in WMS.

    WMS 3.1.1 just installed this month on a virtual Server 2019.

    The same strange thing is on a few 3040 – it shows me lite, and will not upgrade.

    For this i opened a ticket – hope they help me out 😉 I will post it when i have a solution.
