Just recieved a batch of Xenith clients with software 2.0.0.15 installed. An end user complained that her mouse wasn’t scrolling properly, and when I looked at the issue it only acted up in Firefox (v. 15.0.1) – Chrome / IE were fine. Basically the scroll is slow, it just looks all jumpy and delayed by 5 seconds. Tried fiddling with the limited Firefox options, auto scroll/smart scroll, hardware accelleration… made no difference.
I had some older units running 1.7, and they don’t display the issue. I ended up rolling back the new units to 1.7 to solve the problem, but Im wondering if other people out there have the same problem and have a fix.
We are running XenApp 6.5 with Hotfix 1 and the latest Flash patch.
There is a Xenith HF release available. It is version 2.0_017. Not sure if this is fixing your issue but you should give it a try.

Thanks for the tip. You wouldn’t happen to know where I can get that hotfix from? I logged into the Wyse support page and I don’t see any such hotfix.
You need maintenance to get this. If you just bought the units within 90 days you have it “build in”. In that case contact Wyse support and they should be able to give it to you.

FYI – I had maintenance, but for some reason that patch didn’t appear till the 17th of December for me. I applied it and it still does the same thing. I have a ticket open with Wyse, still waiting for a response. (their tech support is awful… the case worker can’t read the notes in the case or look for my attachments, keep getting questioned by the guy and the answers are in the original post)
