    Hi,
    From the configuration file (xen.ini), I would like to use a different “PnliteServer” URL based on firmware level of my Xenith zero clients.

    Example:
    IF Xenith has a certain level of firmware then use Storefront URL,
    ELSE if below a certain level of firmware point use the Web Interface URL

    Is this possible?
    Thanks Tony

    There is no way to have any kind of If-When clause in the INI file.
    You could do it in different other ways.
    – Put a SelectServerList parameter in your xen.ini to let the user decide which way to go
    SelectServerList=PNA \
    Description=”Legacy” Host=”legancy_url” \
    Description=”Storefront” Host=”sf_url”
    – User WDM Enterprise and its Default Device Configuration feature. Create two groups, place the units in one or the other group and assign different xen.ini files.
    – Use machine based INI files

    There may be other solutions, but these are the ones that first came to my mind.

    Hi CG,
    Thanks for the suggestions.
    Unfortunately I am looking for a solution without user intervention, also we are constrained by a WDM WorkGroup model.

    Could you elaborate on machine based INI files and if there is a online resource regarding configuring INI files in more detail?

    The other way of identifying legacy model would be by MAC address, but again not sure if we can tag MAC addresses in any way.

    Thanks

    I have a P FDin the Download section called WTOS – INI file handling.
    This should be a good starting point.
