Can anyone tell me specifically what WyseVDA=yes and LowBand=yes do?

Is there any reason you would not want to enable these options?

WyseVDA enables the VDA product which has to be licensed additionally with Wyse. See here for more details -> http://www.wyse.com/products/software/vda/index.asp

LowBand is an option to enable optimization for low speed connections (on all
connections), such as reducing audio quality and/or decreasing
    protocol-specific cache size.

OK, so WyseVDA requires a component installed on the server side that costs money. Scratch that…

As for LowBand, I know what the manual says, but does anyone know *specifically* what it does (particularly the part about “protocol-specific cache”, and more importantly, why you would not want to use it?

I have audio disabled already, so that doesn’t come into consideration.

LowBand means better performance on low bndwidth connection but less user experience, eg. font smoothing, etc…
