I’ve got two really old WYSE products, WT3235LE and WYSE Model VX0.

It runs on Citrix, but we’re doing an upgrade, and was wondering to remove using Citrix altogether. Instead we will be using terminal emulators (VT100,220 or even 420).

Was wondering if it was do-able using this WYSE products or has anyone bump into any guides to help me out.

I’ve searched online the whole day and the search hasn’t been fruitful. Haven’t even managed to find the manual guide for both the products.

Both units, 3235 and V30, should have a Terminal Emulation Suite onboard. It is either Ericom or Pericom depending on the firmware version you have installed.
Both should be able to do the required emulations.
If not present you can download for free from Wyse.

i just gotten the V30 thin client and i’m having slight difficulty trying to set it up to boot on Terminal Suite. Currently i have it booted with the Start Menu but couldn’t find about any option that allows me to boot into a terminal emulation to begin RFGen with.

Tried searching through the search engines and wyse but there isn’t much guide provided

Create a new emulation session. Go to Control Panel-Desktop and switch to standard desktop. This will bring up the “old” CE interface with a Connection Manager. You should see your newly created session there already. Click on it once and select the Startup in the lower part of the Connection Manager to switch this session to autostart.
