I have a bunch of v50L’s with dual monitors. Wyse told me to install the TCX Multi-display software on my citrix boxes so to make it work. After I installed it I needed to tweak the .ini file to specify that the software auto enables every time someone logs in. The problem is that when more then one user logs in to a published desktop on the same server it stops to auto enable for any users after the first. The other thing I just noticed was that when I log in to one of the citrix boxes using a Wyse v10L with dual monitors it gets auto enabled. The only thing in the wysehk.ini file is:
Gina=no hori=1 vert=1
AutoStartup=yes
Enable=yes
Also there is nothing in the user.ini file. Wyse told me to put enable=yes there but that didn’t work.
I hope I explained the issue well enough!
Please help if you have any ideas.
-AWMay 23, 2008 at 7:00 pm #13059Just to update my last post. When i use a v50L with version 6.3.2 build 52 and I log in to a published desktop the TCX Multi-display auto enables. But when I use a v50L with version 6.4 build 19 it doesn’t auto enable.
Thank you,
-AWMay 24, 2008 at 5:15 pm #13064Looks like you have perfectly analysed the issue down to the build build version.
Have you told that to Wyse? Looks like they have to do some homework.CG
May 27, 2008 at 1:54 pm #13076Wyse have been trying to fix this problem for the past month! Which is how i found this website and was hoping someone had this issue to. I have another conference call with them today so lets hope. I’ll keep you posted.
Thank you,-AW
May 28, 2008 at 4:41 pm #13092I know and the funny thing is that the people at Wyse tell me they cant replicate the issue!

May 30, 2008 at 6:16 am #13115Do you have a CIR number from Wyse? If not, ask for it and post it or send via PM. Maybe I can contact some “insiders” and help.

May 30, 2008 at 2:24 pm #13120Yesterday I found out that the reason they couldn’t duplicate the error was because they were testing using Firefox instead of the ICA client. Once I screamed they finally duplicated the error and have sent me a new beta version of the Wyse TCX Multi-display that they just created. I wont be able to test this out until the weekend because it requires a reboot. I will keep you posted & would you like me to put the version up on free wyse monkeys?
Thank you,
-AW

August 22, 2008 at 7:54 am #13698Hi Jeff,
but the applications are opened in fullscreen on one or the other screen and not in the middle?

August 22, 2008 at 1:23 pm #13704Well some apps open full screen or 1024*768 as per our Citrix Farm settings. The thing is some windows (popups/warnings) show up in the middle of the screen which is a HUGE deal. Im not sure how i can fix this issue. Does anyone have knowledge with the TCX MM drivers?
August 22, 2008 at 3:42 pm #13713sorry to be more detailed. its PNA or TCX that doesnt know how to handle the window. It treats it as one full window spanning both screens. Does any have an ideas?
