June 11, 2008 at 10:34 am #13221Looks like you are using the wrong firmware file. Could it be the one for V-class instead of S-class?
Tell us the correct name of the used .i2d file.CG
June 11, 2008 at 10:40 am #13223i tried the

5S52_REL_6.4.0_19-128 5S52.i2d 125mb
5150-5S50_6.3.0_36-64 5150.i2d 63 mb
REL_6.3.2_52-128 5S52.i2d 16.7 mb
June 11, 2008 at 11:19 am #13224OK, looks good so far.
What partnumber does your S50 has?
What folder in WSI have you used for the import? If the partnumber ends with -xxL you have a new RoHS compiant unit and have to use the S52 folder with S52 firmware. Otherwise use S50 folder and FW.

Default gateway: 10.1.1.254June 12, 2008 at 8:25 am #13237OK, that looks fine then.
How big is the flash size of the unit? It has to match with the size of the image.CG
June 12, 2008 at 8:46 am #13238first i have to thank you for your continuing support!
i found an newer simple imager instruction v3 that pointed out :
Note: A recent change in manufacturing to make our devices ROHS compliant, required us to use different hardware components and make changes to the software to
accommodate and recognize these components. To address this issue and to prevent any damage to the hardware with Wyse Simple Imager, new “Product Numbers” where added.
To avoid an “Incompatible Firmware†message, check the part number of your thinclient, and use the following table to cross reference your thin client model to the equivalent model to select under WSI 1.3.0 when “Adding” or “Submitting†the new firmware into WSI. This is only for the Sx0 and Vx0 series.i tried different part nummers and wsi model version but no luck.
how do i know the flash size of an s50?
June 12, 2008 at 9:25 am #13239Boot the S50 and look in the System Properties.

June 12, 2008 at 9:59 am #13240mmm, i try to flash them because they don’t boot …
