Hi!
I have a Wyse S50 who can’t start any more. This happened after I remove a lot of Add-ons. The boot screen is coming and it starts to load, but when it is finish it i get a black screen and it is like it rebooting again.
I have try to restore to factory default by pressing G, but it is not working. I have also tried to flash it with the USB Image Creator, but it is not helping.
Can someone help me? π

10. April 2008 at 11:40 #12601Hi,
Did you manage to load the image with the USB imager? Or did this fail?
It should boot OK after the imager finishes, can you describe what happens?
Cheers,
-TT10. April 2008 at 16:09 #12607I think the loading of the image failed. It came a message but it disappeared again quite fast, so I could not manage to read it.
After this it jumped back to the menu…
11. April 2008 at 0:50 #12614OK, try loading the image again. If this fails go the the wyse.com web site and on the V50L downloads page is the Wyse Simple Imager tool. This will load a new image for you,

20. October 2008 at 5:53 #14179OK, this means you have a S50 with 128 MB of RAM and 64MB of flash.
Use this image to flash then first: http://www.wyse.com/supportdownload/5series/5S50-5150-5S52_6.3.1_21-64.zipAfter that you can upgrade via FTP to this image:
http://www.wyse.com/supportdownload/5series/S50-V50_6.4.0_19_wlx-ftp.zipEach image file you are using has to be smaller than 64MB.
