    Hi all,
I’m new to this forums however my colleague has informed me that this is THE place to get help – so don’t let me down!!!
We currently have a number of S10 terminals at our head office which have worked flawlessly with our Presentation 4.6 farm. However we are currently working on creating a whole new XenApp 6.5 farm and using these terminals to connect to it.
I have no issue setting up the ICA connection at all, it finds the published desktop without issue on the browser and adds fine. When I try and connect to it though it gives a “connection timed out” error.
I’ve had a google around and it seems its to do with me needing to add a line in the wnos.ini file “fixlicense=clean”. Is that correct?
We don’t currently have a WYSE support contract unfortunately so I don’t have that to fall back on or access to the latest firmware, I believe they currently run v5.0.
I have read that I need to somehow set up an FTP to change the file on the terminal itself but I not the faintest clue on how to do this.
Is someone able to help please?
    Thanks, Sam

Fixlicense=clean has nothing to do with your issue. Remove it from your wnos.ini to prevent the units of pulling a new TSCAL with each connect.
I guess it has to do with your TSCAL model you are using.
Are you using “per device” or “per user”?

Hello, I’m having the same issue. The new Wyse is having the issue when it tries to auto connect to the new New Citrix 6.5 farm. The Browser is set to my ZDC , but it’s not pulling anything applications options at all. When the Wyse tries to load it fails to connect and retries with the same result. The Wyse can ping the ZDC’s and Farm servers on the network. The servers are setup per user not per device. Any help would be grateful.

    “New Wyse”?
    ZDC?
    Use per device licensing.
