Afternoon All,
A complete newbie to the WYSE world, so hopefully this is not a stupid question nor a difficult question.
I have created PNAgent site which the WYSE terminal connects to happily and launches the published Citrix XenApp 6.5 desktop with no issues.
I would like to have published applications available as well as published desktops, is this possible without a configuration file? I only have a single WYSE Rx0L terminal at present that I am testing with.
May 21, 2013 at 7:07 pm #23864So you are using the Xenith Pro unit?
Xenith is designed for desktops to use. Although it is technically possible to make the published apps visible, they will
– not run seamless
– not share the same session
Using a R10L would change this.CG
May 22, 2013 at 12:07 am #23868Hi CG,
Thanks for your reply.
I believe I am using a R10L, I say this as the Model No is:Rx0L and the description is as follows: R00LX 1.5G
How would using a R10L change the situation?
May 22, 2013 at 6:38 am #23869According to the label, you are using a Xenith Pro.
R10L is supporting seamless, session sharing and even RDP if needed.CG

Thanks again for you reply.
So how do I get published applications working on this device?May 27, 2013 at 3:46 pm #23885You can try this parameter:
SessionConfig=ICA OnDesktop=allCG

Afternoon CG,
Thank you for the information. I gather I will be editing a file on the TC Unit? If so, where would I find this file and what would it be called?
May 29, 2013 at 9:50 am #23895Typically a Xenith unit is configured centrally using a xen.ini file which resides on a webserver.
Aren’t you using this?CG

We are not using an central management at this time. We are manually configuring the units. We have a total of 3 at present that we are testing. So based on this, what needs to be edited locally on the device?
June 4, 2013 at 10:45 am #23919This option is only available via xen.ini and not locally.
