    Hi,

Can I check with the community if I can configure some kind of etc/drivers/hosts file on Wyse devices in an environment with no DNS? Initially we could make do with just pointing to the IP of a Citrix server, but now that my company wanted to leverage on CSG – I need to connect to the SSL protected URL. Any way for me to configure a hard coded IP to the CSG URL within Wyse?

I have both the 1125SE and V10L terminals in my environment.

    Thanks.

    Short answer – no.

CSG and certificate infrastructure is built on name resolution and that means DNS. Quite frankly DNS is a fundamental component of modern networks and very simple to implement, it would be easier to add DNS than to work around it with host files,

    Cheers,
