Web Interface: 5.4.2.59
Citirx: XenApp 6.5 RP 2
OS: Windows 2008 R2
Wyse ThinOS: 8.0.37
SmartCard Type: Oberthur
Middleware Software: ActivClient 7Issueing CA cert has been installed on all devices in chain (Wyse, WI and STA/XML)
Windows 7 Client PNAgent Explicit: Works
Windows 7 Client PNAgent SmartCard: Works
Wyse C10LE PNAgent Explicit: Works
Wyse C10LE PNAgent SmartCard: Fails Wyse Error message: “Citrix Sigon Failed” (very helpful)WNOS sample:
SignOn=yes
Smartcards=Yes;; Defines Login URL
pnliteserver=https://webinterface.sample.com/Citrix/PNAgent/config.xmlI have created a simple POC based off http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX129096.
As stated above when I login using Explicit credenitals I am able to login and launch apps without issue. When attempting to use Smartcard I see the following in the WI logs.2013-09-01 19:17:07 IP.IP.IP.IP GET /Citrix/PNAgent/config.xml – 443 – IP.IP.IP.IP WTOS/1.0 500 0 64 1325
2013-09-01 19:17:08 IP.IP.IP.IP POST /scripts/WPnBr.dll – 443 -IP.IP.IP.IP – 500 0 64 1403There are NO other events written on either the WI or the STA. I have tried to use Wireshark to capture the data between the Wyse and WI but due to the fact that its HTTPs I am unable to read the data, even if I use the SSL cert to decode the traffic the payload all have a data lenght of 0 bytes
Notice the HTTP error code of 500, does not give me much to go off of but “Server Error” I have set authentication of the web site to Anonymous and set the SSL to Require SSL and Client certs to Accept.
I have spent more time than I wish to admit and I have hit a brick wall every time.
A few things of note, if I configure the Wyse device to connect directly to a XenApp server I am able to Smartcard all the way in, the same goes for RDP connections, for what ever reason I am unable to use the WI to broker my login.
Please help I am going grey and neither Citrix or Wyse have been much help
