    Hi All,

    Hoping you may be able to help.

    I’ve been running wnos.ini files successfully for a fair while using S10’s and C10LE’s with ICA connections.

    Now that im testing some VMWware View VDI Broker features, the automatic shutdown that was working is no longer.

    I am now (and always have been using);

    AutoSignoff=Yes Shutdown=Yes
    Shutdowncounter=0

    Now, when using the VDI broker, the session is successfully signed out, but the terminal does not shutdown. I have also tried elevating the privledges of the user (within WTOS), but to no evail.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    The way I solved it was to create a scheduled task in the VM to disconnect. I set it to trigger when idle for 5 minutes and run %systemroot%system32Tsdiscon.exe.

    Once the VM disconnects your AutoSignoff will work as expected. TsDiscon generates a disconnect not a logoff, so your session will still be running on the server.

    Hope that helps
