I’ve asked Wyse for an eval copy of WTOS for S-10 devices to see if it fixes my Wyse/Xenapp problems. The sales person sent me a link where I downloaded a zip file with the following files:
.DS_Store (I think this is Mac OS cruft – I guess the zip file was created on a Mac)
C00_xen
C10_wnos
R10_wnos
VL10_wnos
I suspect I did not get the correct files for an S-10. If I did, how do I use them?
S10 uses RCA_wnos for checking firmware updates.
Lovely – I just got an email from another Wyse sales person and she states that WTOS will not be made available for the S-10 terminals.

Which is not true, WTOS 7.0.0.x is available for S10 (we have it up and running just not ready yet for production). the only disadvance is you are not able to downgrade it back to 6.x once it’s upgraded to WTOS 7.0.x
