Hi,
Can I use wlx.ini & user.ini security for Wyse Linux v6 based Thin Client without FTP Server or locally, as we use for Windows CE.net OS.
Cheers,
Enam
Good question,
You can save the wlx.ini settings locally however I have not tried to create the user accounts. I am sure being Linux this is possible I will have to check it out and post back,

It is a mimic of Linux or let say a watered down linux and the /etc/passwd does not store any user infor and cannot authenticate a user. you need to have some kind of LDAP or Active Directory to use multiple users.. Now you can use the wlx.ini as a global or local profile for the default user which i think is Guest. I have worked on 700 units and so far no luck on how to setup a user locally.. but anything is possible and with this posibility is a great customization and big changes..
