Hello All, I have a wise s30 with me O.S WinCE 5.0 and it has a default ICA client 10.13 .So my Problem is

    1) If i am trying to connect Program Neighbor hood agent with my Presentation server 2003, it gives me I/O error ,i had simply used Default ICA Client which comes by default by wise device nothing else do i have to perform any other step too .Because if i am using same step on desktop it works fine. I don’t know what i have to do with wise as ICA client has lots of limitation too .

    2) if i am using web interface it shows me message that you don’t have Citrix Presentation Server Client installed on your machine. and when i try to launch the app it give me error that Can’t find the File Flash1Appsrv.ini
i am too confused what i have to do

    Thanks

    Hi Rupe,

what Presentation Server version do you use? How do you access the Webinterface? Via local IE? What excact CE build are you using (check Control Panel-System)? Explain the steps you did to configure the ICA client.

BTW, the company is called “Wyse”. Wise is the installer company 😉

Thanks for Correction 🙂 ,I am using Presentation server 4.5 .Yes i am trying to access Web Inetrface Through Local IE from Wyse. As i said i have no idea about the wyse Stuff so i had given a basic try ,

    1) Presentation Server is installed on my Window Server 2003 and working proper .i had developed a Virtual Channel app for desktop and it’s working smoothly.

    2) Now from Wyse ,Right click on Desktop and select add connection and select Citrix ICA Client (This client is default client of Wyse for citrix).

3)it popup a dialog for various information like Server or published application in that i had choose server and given the valid address of Server.

And i am not able to connect through presentation Server. Nothing else i had done because i don’t have any idea about that .

Then i had use Web Interfaces through my Local IE of Wyse was able to login in my farm application from wyse and can see my Published application but when i clicked on published application it saves that FlashAppsrv.ini is missing .Second thing even my IE page shows a message that Citrix ICA client is not Installed on the machine . So i have no clue because i know in case of desktop i have to Installed Citrix ICA client but i am assuming that WYSE client should work here but that seems Program neighbor hood agent So that’s why it’s giving error with respect to Web interface Client.

    Regarding CE build

    5.0 Wyse FR3 (Build 588)

    Thanks for your help

You cannot easily install any DLLs yourself on a Wyse CE device.
What are the steps for that you have to do on a standard PC? Maybe we can write a Wyse Device Manager (WDM) script to do that for you on the CE devices.

Once again thanks for your reply actually i have all the utility with me through that i can make a addon on wyse device just want to know at which path i have to store my virtual channel dll like when a user click on addon where i have to extract my dll on device and what sort of registry entry it required for Citrix communication .Because in case of standard PC when u install ICA client it make all the entry in rgistry and you have to store your dll under program filecitrix .but in case of wise there is nothing.

    Thanks

I am interested in what you did to fix your issue. I am having the same problem with the ICA 10.17 client. I can log onto to web front end and see the published apps. When I try and launch an application, the server does not see the ICA client and tells me I do not have Java installed.

It seems to work with the 10.3 version of the ICA client.

You state that you got it working, but not how.
