I’ve installed the add-on WIRELESS-3.38.pak on a 64/128 S50 running Wyse Linux V6 6.3.2. Upon booting, I get the following errors:
insmod: cannot insert ‘/usr/lib/modules/wireless/athusbfw.ko’: Invalid module format (-1): Exec format error
insmod: cannot insert ‘/usr/lib/modules/wireless/athusbwlan.ko’: Invalid module format (-1): Exec format error
modprobe: failed to load module athusbwlan
Adapter is a NetGear WG111T-100NAR which, I believe, is on Wyse’s HCL.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tom
P.S. Is there a version of 6.5 or even 6.4 available for this model? I can’t seem to find it on Wyse’s dl site although these versions are available for other models.
You can find version 6.5.2_02 in the download section for the S50 on wyse.com. You have to use te FTP upgrade way as Wyse has only posted a 128MB image for the PXE way.
No 100% sure but this FTP upgrade should work with 64MB.
Try it – it will not kill your unit.
