I haven’t used the V50’s before other than booting up and connecting to Citrix.

The question is… Is it possible to install ‘Wine’ windows emulator on Linux to run a windows application on the Winterm. Has anyone tried this?

I realise there are probably 100 reason not to do this – yet the customer has asked. I would imagine flash space would be a problem, and then performance would be dreadful? any pointers?

I agree – bad idea. No way does the unit have the space or the CPU/memory to drive WINE. Besides – server based computing means server based apps!

Better option would be to use the NoMachine addon to connect to a Linux box with the apps there if the customer does not want to use Windows as the OS.

    Cheers,
