I have come across a problem I have not been able to solve and just want to see if anyone has come across this or if anyone has a fix.
When connected via RDP to a windows 2008 R2 server there is a terrible typing delay in most programs, this happens with both S30 WinCE and S90 XP Embedded models.
I have tried using the latest CE 6.0 build, increasing memory, changing resolutions, color depth. I have tried everything I could think of.
I have some windows 7 embedded models and this isn’t a problem.
I don’t really want to have to replace over 100 thin clients.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have already spoken to Wyse directly and they are absolutely useless. 🙁
Same problem with Win2008R2
Big latency, or sometime i can’t connect to the server.
With a MPLS connection, It’s impossible.
i think there is an issue with WinCE and win2008R2
