I am having problems building an all-in-one image to use on my Wyse S30 terminals. I have two different types of terminals, the older models that end in -01 (branded Winterm) and the newer -01L (branded Citrix Ready).

I have been able to successfully create all-in-one images for my Winterm models using the 581 primer with the following addons from wyse:
    – Citrix 10.3
    – DFR500 Fingerprint Driver
    – Wyse HAgent
    – VNC Agent
After that I configured the terminal, pulled the config using WDM and packaged it using ConfGen. It works great for what I need on the older terminals.

When I try to create the same thing for my newer Citrix Ready terminals with the 593 primer image after applying the config that I pull from the working model, the terminal is unable to fully establish a connection to Citrix. The autologin counter counts down, the messages about connecting to Citrix display, it says connection established, then the screen blanks and goes back to the autologin count down.

I believe the problem lies within the config files, as when I push my base image without the config to a terminal it works fine. I have tried numerous variations of Append/Replace with different check boxes checked and unchecked.

I can’t seem to get this to work like it did on the older terminals.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    2 things:
    1. Do you apply the config pulled from the old S30? Do not do that!
    2. Try to delete the locally stored TSCAL from the client. Looks like a TSCAL issue to me. There is a Control Panel applet for that but you need the RDP addon for that.

So basically I need to install the RDP client then try to delete TSCAL? I will give it a go and see what happens.

    Thanks,

I don’t know what RDP has to do with ICA but it worked. Thank you!!

RDP has nothing to do with ICA but with the RDP addon you got the TSCAL applet and could delete all locally saved TSCAL. And a TSCAL is also needed for ICA.
    Glad it is working now.
