Hi,
I have just installed WDM 4.5.3 and am having problems in pulling and pushing configurations. I think everything is setup OK, as all the process seems to work except for the final delivery.
I can pull the configuration fine. A settings.reg eventually appears in the FTP repository with the give package name as its parent folder name. I then try and send the image down to a different S30. The screen on the terminal changes saying that the administrator is reconfiguring the terminal, the terminal reboots and no changes have been made (desktop settings all the same prior to re-configuration and ICA connection is not present). I have looked at the settings.reg file and can see all the correct settings listed i.e. correct resolution and ICA connection). So everything appears to be working, except the final change (which looks like it should be working)? Any advice?
Many Thanks,

The new confiruration generator is for you, I am in the proccess of putting togeather a doc on how to send settings as a “addon” that will make the process much more reliable.
Stay tuned…
March 4, 2008 at 10:30 pm #11983Hi,
when you have created the settings.reg file with WDM have you selected any of the checkboxes in the package wizard?
If yes, don’t do that as it will EXCLUDE these settings. Also, dowload this file from my website and copy it in your wwwroot folder replacing the old one. Then extract the settings.reg again.

Thinkthin: Thanks for the quick response, I look forward to seeing the document!
ConfGen: The checkboxes were unchecked. The second time I tried the process (before posting for help) I realised it was an exclude option 😳 . I’ll give the file a go that you posted and let you know of the outcome…having just clicked the link it appears to be dead. I had a quick look round the website but couldnt find the file. Any chance you could check the URL?
Many thanks for your responses,
