I am using WDM 4.8 Enterprise on a Windows 2003 R2 system.
I had to reinstall the whole system because WDM was not working anymore as expected.
I didn’t backup restore any WDM databases and started from scratch. Everything works just fine but after 2 reboots, WDM Service Logs stopped working.
Every 20sec I see the WDM icon in the taskbar for a few seconds (when i move the mouse over it it says “WDM Service Logs”) but I can’t start it. When I click on it nothing happens and the Symbol disappears automatically after a few seconds… It looks like it’s trying to start the Logs service but fails.
Unfortunately I didn’t find any log files that could tell me what is broken.
Did anyone in here see that behaviour? Any idea where I can find the log file or any other information that tell me why the Service logs don’t work anymore?
I didn’t change anything on the server and neither in the SQL instance… And I don’t want to reinstall the whole server again.
