    Hi,

Recently we spilt our existing data vlan addresses pool into multiple vlans. While doing this we changed the WDM server’s static IP address. Since doing this WDM has been unable to discover devices that aren’t in same VLAN.

How do I get WDM to see all XPe terminals again? Since changing the config all the XPe terminals seem to have booted into write mode.

    Any help would be grateful.

    Regards,
    Dan

How do you try to discover the clients?

When I previously installed it and enabled FTP and HTTP the terminals WDM discovered the terminals and forced a reboot/ updated the address.

Then all clients now have the old IP address in its agent and do not have a valid reason to search for any new one.
You should create a DNS alias named “wdmserver” and point it to your WDM Server. Additionally create two DHCP option tags (186 and 192). You should find enough references here on how to create those.
