Hi All!
I’m in a real bind and I’m not sure where to go next… I’m running 5.2.0_58 in an environment with 1200LE’s and a few S10’s.
On the 1200’s, I can VNC into the terminal just fine:
maxvncd=1
VNCPrompt=no
But as soon as the ICA connection loads and the user is in their windows environment, I get a “the connection closed unexpectedly” error trying to VNC into the unit.
Once they terminate (logout) of thier windows session, I can VNC into the unit again. Looking at the event log on the device I see:
line#: mfail(vnc handler tcp): out of memory 6356992, errno = 11
This did not happen before upgrading from 4.2 to 5.2, so I’m confused. Any ideas?
(The S10’s seem to be fine, probably more memory in them)
Thanks!
~Ryan
I figured it out!
Version 5.2.0_89 uses up too much memory for the 1200LE to run an ICA connection AND a VNC shadow.
I had to downgrade to 4.4.079i and now everything’s working fine.
Thanks!
~Ryan
