    Hi,
I’m trying to connect to a VDI Broker from a Wyse V10L using a internet address.
The unit connects and shows the desktop icon, but when I try to open this desktop, the unit try to connect to a internal address.
I’m using the VMware VDM 2.0.0 build-403 and Thin OS 6.1.05

Is there another way to do this?

    Regards,
    Rafael

    Hi Rafael,

Currently the V10L does not support SSL tunneling of the RDP traffic so although the sign on is encrypted the unit tries a direct RDP connection on port 3389.

This will change in the future but the only option currently is a XPe based client for your setup,

    Cheers,
    -TT

    Thanks thinkthin,
I will try to use a VPN appliance in this case.
Is there a way to use VDI over internet with V10L?

    Best Regards,
    Rafael

Currently not really. You could use the PPtP client on the V10L as a VPN, sure PPtP is not that great but you are only tunneling encrypted RDP.

Soon the V10L will support tunneling with the VDM2 and with the release of the Citrix broker this also supports SSL of the session.

    Cheers,
