I have to setup V90’s to work on a domain (I know, it sucks)
The problem is, I cannot use the web client. It says it cannot download the file due to a security setting. I have tried using Citrix Program neighbor hood but it would need to be setup for each user who access the machine because each time I log in, it is as if for the first time.
I have talked to Wyse support and they gave me a join domain script and a registry tweak to push out, and some instructions for editing the default user setup. Ok, that works fine but it never works for domain users.
Can anyone help?
Where does the default Domain User profile come from? Is there anyway to setup the Citrix Program neighborhood to load all of the users apps without having to tell it to do so?27. November 2007 at 7:58 #10873ConfGenKeymaster

download the latest build from wyse.com. Earlier build does not contain some reg keys which prevent users from downloading eg. ICA files via web.
The missing keys are:
Here always set the variable 1807 from 3 to 0.
The same keys exist within CurrentUser.
Open regedit and load the default user’s ntuser.dat. Then change these settings there also. This should be the profile for all new users incl. domain ones. Unload ntuser.dat afterwards and reboot the unit.
Don’t forget the Write Filter, of course.

FWIW, my company uses Citrix Program Neighborhood installed on the V90’s that are all joined to the domain.
Our baseline V90 image is set up so that anyone who logs into the winterm can click on program neighborhood and *boom* there are their Citrix applications. No need to login again and this works for any user that logs in on the winterm, ad infinitum.
No need to use the web client.
If you would like help getting this set up, lmk.
