V90 dead

    As soon as pwr is turned on with my 3rd V90 a red light comes on under the front power button and the unit does nothing? I traded out the flash and memory into another unit and they work and I put the flash and memory from good into this unit and still a red light?
    Anything else I can try? I do have a tool to swap the bios chip but have not done so yet? No label on bios chip in dead unit? 39S040 is bios chip?

    Most likely the BIOS NOR will need re-programing. Maybe send it to a Wyse service center and get it re-flashed,

    You can try to swap the BIOS but I doubt this will help. Looks like this unit is dead and needs a Wyse Service Center for professional repair.
    I don’t know the correct number of the BIOS chip but it is mounted in a socket and is appr. 1cm in square. You will need a special pliers to unmount it safely.

    Three CAPS on the main board are trying to push out their tops?
    On other systems if these are replaced the board may work again.

    Anyone had this happen and changed the caps?
