    I’ve been running V50 with great success, publishing a full desktop from Presentation Server 4.5. They are great with usb devices, just plug them in anytime and they worked. Now I can’t buy the V50 and have purchased the newer V50LE. I’m finding all sorts of usb issues with these units. Memory sticks, cameras and DVD drives that are not recognized, but all work fine with the V50.

    My wlx.ini config has this line for usb:
    ICADrives= v=disk,rw u=cdrom,ro

    Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be happening here?

    Thanks,
    Adrian

    Are you running different firmware version on the V50 and V50LE?

    Yes, the V50’s came with 6.3.2 build 21 and build 40. The V50LE is coming with 6.3.2 build 52. I tried to image the V50LE with 6.3.2 build 21 downloaded from Wyse but it gave me an incompatible firmware message and wouldn’t load.

    I’m starting to think maybe the V10L with WTOS might be a better option.
    Anyone have success with the V10L, Citrix and usb?

    Hi,

    Yes I believe there was an issue with some USB sticks on this firmware. Try and use the ftp upgrade file on the V50L’s (it is .64m file). You will need to contact Wyse to get hold of it,

    Cheers,

    Thanks TT,

    Wyse support sent me an ftp link to the appropriate version of 6.4.0 build 19 which seems to have rectified the problem.

    All the Best
    Adrian
