V50L and Java

    i am trying to install Java on a Wyse V50L. and i need some help. any idea how do install it?

    Java has been installed.

    next my problem is trying to get it to work with VMware’s VDI
    i get to the point of “launchtunnel.jnlp” and i’m trying to open this with Java and no joy 🙁

    any idea’s?

    Stephen,

    The JNLP extension is started by the Java Webstarter (in Linux javaws)
    Haven’t tried to install Java yet, so don’t know exactly where is lives in the flash of a V50L….. when you need to choose what to launch it with, it typically means that your mime types file is missing application/x-java-jnlp-file

    There is a package available from Wyse but it needs lots of flash.
