I have an issue whereby the Wyse V10LE devices are being allocated temporary Windows 2008 R2 RDS licenses, however, these are not being translated into permanent licenses.

A little more detail. The Wyse V10LE devices have ThinOS version 6.5.0_23 and connect to XenApp 5 running on Windows 2003 R2 enterprise edition. The Remote Desktop Licenses are hosted on a Windows 2008 R2 device and are Windows 2008 R2 RDS CALs.

The Windows 2008 R2 license server is sucessfully allocating permanent RDS CALs to Windows XP clients and Windows 2003 servers, when they are used as clients. This indicates that the licensing mechanisrm is functioning corrrectly.

However, for the Wyse V10LEs the Windows 2008 R2 license server will allocate a temporary Windows 2003 CAL, but this is not being translated to a permanent RDS CAL, which is happening for the Windows XP and Windows 2003 machines. I have plenty of spare per device licenses free and the servers are all configured to use per device licensing.

I have also applied the FixLicense=Clean parameter in the WNOS.ini and this has made no difference.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
