    Hi,

    I’m having some issues setting up local time to appear correctly.

    My wnos.ini has a connection to PNAgent to launch desktop automatically. The time on the Citrix Published desktop is fine. But local time is out by 8 hours.
    When I hover the mouse over the time in the bottom right corner the date is out by 2 days! Also the date format is wrong.

    I’m trying to get the scheduled reboot working. I’m using 6.5.0_16

    Here is my wnos.ini Timeserver is pointing to our DNS server.

    I checked the BIOS and the time is wrong (for my timezone). I try setting it to the same time as here but it still displays incorrect on the local desktop and when I reboot and access the BIOS it has reverted back to the original time.

    We are currently GMT+11 here (We are in DST time, normally +10). The BIOS time appears to be correct as it is showing GMT. Can’t figure out why local desktop is showing a different time altogether.

    Example: It’s 15:00 here now. BIOS shows 4:00. Local desktop displays 7:00

    Hmm doesn’t firmware 6.5.0.23 had timeserver issue’s, and looking at your post you are using 6.5.0.16 i would guess the time server issue also exists in 6.5.0.16

    Not sure which version has the time server issue fixed but i would say everything above 6.5.0.23

    The time issue was fixed with 6.5.0_27 and above.

    Thanks.

    When i look at my system preferences General Tab. The Daylight savings End Date day field is blank. It should be Sun.

    Here are my Daylight savings settings in wnos.ini
    Daylight=yes Start=100107 End=030508 TimeZoneName=”AUS Eastern Standard Time” DayLightName=”AUS Eastern Daylight Time”

    Is this something that is fixed in 6.5.0_27?

    Thanks.

    If this is the whole string then you are missing the
    TimeZone=’GMT + 10:00′ ManualOverride=yes
    parameter in front of Daylight=yes in the same line.

    This is the whole string

    Timeserver=10.32.0.1
    TimeZone=’GMT + 10:00′ Timeformat=”12-hour format” Dateformat=dd/mm/yyyy ManualOverride=yes Daylight=yes Start=100107 End=030508 TimeZoneName=”AUS Eastern Standard Time” DayLightName=”AUS Eastern Daylight Time”

    And it should look like this:

    Timeserver=10.32.0.1 Timeformat=”12-hour format” Dateformat=dd/mm/yyyy
    TimeZone=’GMT + 10:00′ ManualOverride=yes Daylight=yes Start=100107 End=030507 TimeZoneName=”AUS Eastern Standard Time” DayLightName=”AUS Eastern Daylight Time”

    Hi, Australia Eastern Daylight Savings begins on the first Sunday of October and ends on the first Sunday of April.

    Then the string should be:

    Timeserver=10.32.0.1 Timeformat=”12-hour format” Dateformat=dd/mm/yyyy
    TimeZone=’GMT + 01:00′ ManualOverride=yes Daylight=yes Start=100107 End=040107 TimeZoneName=”AUS Eastern Standard Time” DayLightName=”AUS Eastern Daylight Time”

    You should use my ConfGen tool from this site to create your wnos.ini!
