Here is my setup and issue.

I am trying to update Firmware on a V10L by using a crossover cable connected to a laptop which is running Windows XP. The laptop has FTP enabled and I current have the firmware update file saved in C:/Inetpub/ftproot/wyse/wnos.

I am currently using TFTPD32 as a DHCP server to pull my ftp address. Currently mapped as 192.168.168.113. My Wyse terminal does hit the DHCP and pulls an IP address however I am unable to get it to pull the firmware update. What am i doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a test before we look at deploying this update to 30+ Wyse Terminals

What have you entered on the V10L in the Fileserver field?
    There should be 192.168.168.113/wyse

    What i have is 192.168.168.113

It was my understanding that it would auto grab /wyse/wnos. I have tried changing it to /wyse and its still not hitting the update file

OK, your Fileserver field now read like this 192.168.168.113/wyse , correct?
Inside the Wyse folder there is a folder called “wnos”, correct?
In that wnos folder there is a file called wnos.ini, correct?
Verify that the extension is really .ini and the permissions are set correctly.

I have gone ahead and redone everything at this point. I was able to get my hands on a Windows 2008 R2 box and have now set up FTP with Anonymous login. Setup the DHCP options to allow 161 for the Server which is now 172.17.16.80 and the root path of /wyse/wnos. It is hitting my FTP site and prompting for a login. My FTP is configured to allow anonymous I have double checked this but the Wyse device is still prompting for login. I have tried anonymous login, canceling, and leaving blank and it will not get past this.
