    Hello,

we are using Wyse Thin Clients for displaying Oracle Forms Masks and for SAP-GUI and Web-based-Masks.

Since we had much configuration to do I have programmed a GUI (I love AutoIt) where I can make changes. This GUI and the belonging .ini File is not write protected (FBWF allows this!) and saves us a lot of time in configuring Display Resolution, Starting Programs and all these things.

Now I want to edit the .ini by hand right at the device (I´m sick on always walking back to my office to make a minimal manual change in the .ini).
I have implemented a password in this GUI so only “Admins” can change the .ini.
The idea was to open this .ini with notepad, but this is not allowed when logged in as user.
How can we enable the use of Notepad or better does anyone knows a simple text editor without the need of installation which I can deliver aside with my GUI (in a separate directory) ?

I´m curious if someone has a good idea on this 😀

    Thanks for reply.

I´m using Ted Notepad (TedNPad) … works perfect for me without installation.
