    On T10-devices with firmware 7.1 we use the following lines in wnos.ini to map USB-sticks into a XenApp-session:

    SessionConfig=ALL UnmapSerials=no MapDisks=yes DisableSound=No UnmapUSB=yes DefaultColor=2
    SessionConfig=ICA MapDisksUnderZ=yes ProgressiveDisplay=yes AudioQuality=High

    After upgrading to firmware 8.0_037 the disks don’t map under Z: anymore.
    Should I use a different syntax?

    I’m glad to hear that it’s a bug. Wyse support told me it had something to do with changes by Citrix in Xenapp6.5. I was sure that couldn’t be the cause, because I didn’t make any changes in our Xenapp6.5 environment. I will downgrade to versie 7.1 until a fix is released.

    We got the same issue, but we somehow like it was not sure if we would use it in production. I thought it was something new with ThinOS 8.

    Wyse-Product management that develope ThinOS told:
    The 7.x firmware uses an older version of our proprietary Citrix receiver.

    WTOS 8.0 uses a newer version, and as such no longer supports this feature.

    If the customer requires this feature, then they can stay at 7.x firmware.

    We will get the documentation updated.

    So unfortunately they don’t consider it a bug and they will not release a fix.

    it’s a “future”, well i guess they would have to inform people beforehand now many will think it’s a “bug”.
