    Hi,

I’m trying to get a USB receipt printer to work with a V10L over a RDP connection to a 2003 terminal server.

It looks like everything is working. I see the printer session on the server. The logs even show that it is printing. But it never reaches the printer attached to the terminal.

If I attach the printer to a PC and connect over a RDP session, it works fine.

In the setup I’m using LPT (USB) as the port and the printer identification is the exact same as the printer name on the server. Is there anything else required for USB printers?

If I connect a different printer to the LPT port, it works. So I’m thinking it’s something to do with USB.

    Thanks.

What printer are you using? What firmware version?

The printer is a Star TSP100 Ver 1.3.

    The terminal is 6.0.1_8.

Hmmm, never used that printer. I know from some cheap HP printers that they need a dll on th host system to work. For HP I have included those in ConfGen (see printer tab).
    Maybe this helps a bit.

Thanks CG. I’ll check with Star and see if they know anything about it.

Maybe I’m not the first to try to do this on a Wyse terminal.
