While imaging an S50 via USB stick, after getting the initial Wyse “Critical operation in progress” warning, I get the following message:
mount: Mounting /dev/sde1 on /mnt failed: No such file or directory
Failed to mount on any of sda1, sdb1, sdc1, sdd1 and sde1 devices
Please press Enter and remove the USB key to reboot now....
Any ideas? My other USB stick simply doesn’t boot at all.
Do you try to use the Wyse USB Imaging tool?
It does not support S-class at all.
You can try TTs solution from this website. This may work (or not)

As a matter of fact, I did use the USB Imager, but only after reading elsewhere on FWM the following:
Currently the USB imager now supports the following Wyse platforms:
Wyse x150 (9150, 5150 and 3150)
Wyse V-Class (V90, V50 and V30)
Wyse S-Class (non-RoHS S90, S50 and S30)Wyse V Class L/LE- (V90L/LE, V50L/LE, V30L/LE and V10L)
Wyse S-Class (RoHS S90, S50 and S30)
I’ve tried WSI but the clients aren’t making the connection. I know DHCP is set up correctly as I was able to successfully pull an image from a good S50 using these instructions: http://www.freewysemonkeys.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=47&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0
TT’s solution worked great! Thanks!
