    I get an error Unable To Find User’s SID Line#: 10 Cmd:MR RegistryQuerySetting.reg User when the C90LE is logged on as a User and FBWF enabled. However, if the C90LE is logged on as an Administrator and FBWF is disabled the registry will update. How can I update the registry in User with FBWF enabled?

    To save changes the FBWF has to be off. If it isn’t you would need exception defined to make it work.
    Typically WDM takes care of the FBWF status and disables it when a packages is pushed to the client.
    For your command use
    MR “querysettings.reg” “user”

    Thanks for the reply. When I do the push, WDM does take care of FBWF status on the client. However, WDM still comes back with the same error.

    My script:

    [Version]
    Number=Registry
    Description=Registry test
    OS=XP
    Category=Other Packages
    USE_REMOTE=Yes
    ; Date: 12/9/2011

    [Script]
    MR “querysetting.reg” “user”

    If I set the winlog as a Administrator and FBWF enabled, the package updates the registry. I do not understand why the package will not update the registry when client is in user mode. A possible permission or profile issue?

    Thanks,
    Tin

    I resolved my problem by pushing a new image to the client. The registry package works fine when the client is logged in user mode.
