i’m new here, also new with Wyse thin client.
I get an old one and want to use it for RDP in XP Pro.

I wanted to start fresh so i downloaded Wyse USB Firmware Tool 1.5.0.36 and also firmware B339Wyse9150 for my 9150SE

In the firmware Tool i do the following:

    – i choose “configure a single USB key to copy or to update firmware” and
    press next

    – Select “Windows XP Embedded”, select “update firmware”, select “OS-image”, select “BIOS” and select “CMOS” and remove “Preserve data partition” and press next

    – I select correct “t2d” file, press next, choose right drive for USB stick and press next again, the progress starts

But then, after a while i get the message “XML file not presented in the image folder, exiting now”

What am i doing wrong ❓

The 9150 is not supported by the USB imager.
Try the USB tool from this site here. Might help.
Or use the Wyse Simple Imager (which can also be found here).

    Search for Wyse_USB_Imaging_Creator
