Hello! We’re new to the Wyse world, and I’m using WDM 4.9.1. I’ve been purchasing various devices to try them out. With the Z90D7 I was able to get it all configured the way I wanted, then grabbed an image of it by right clicking it in Device manager and choosing Get Device Image. however, now I’m trying out the new D90D7 WES devices, and when I try to do a “Get Device Image” (not configuration!), after setting the name for the new image, it tells me “No Templates were found for the selected device.” It is a Windows Embedded Seven system, just like the Z90D7, and I know I’m selecting the right option, “Get Device Image”, so I can’t figure out why I’m getting that message. Is it because it’s such a new machine, and something needs to be added to WDM to support it? I even loaded the firmware in to the package manager, hoping that would help.

Yeah, I finally figured that out. At least it forced me to put some of the configuration in to Group Policy Preferences, which is easier anyways!

They told me it would be 3 to 4 weeks, so I’m hoping it will be by the first week of November.

If you haven’t seen it, they have a new firmware released on their site which has a number of the enhancements I was installing. Now I’m just down to installing an updated Citrix Receiver and TightVNC, setting the time zone, and joining them to my domain.
