    i have a 9455xl w/ 512MB flash and 512MB ram and i cannot get it to reimage.
I am using WSI 1.2, dhcp turbo, fresh install of windows xp pro SP2, crossover network.
i have read Installing WSI 1.2.0 on a Windows XP Pro machine and QSG – WSI 1.2.0 v5. and setup every exactly as says
    I have downloaded b330-192mb b332-256mb and s425-256mb.
is there a 512MB image i need to be getting? if not then what should i be putting in the flash size field( 512MB or 256MB)
it always says media and archive size check
Is the another file from a different model i should be getting?
some of the files are named 9450****** so i tried setting up some under 9450.
or is the connection messed up somewhere( peer returns error)

here is an image of the screen i always get

you can see i tried a few different options.

    any help would be appreciated.

    chris

    Hi,

Yes, use 512MB as the media size as the factory image will expand to fill the available space.

Check the inetpub/ftproot/Rapport/tools/sa/9455 and make sure all the files are there (about 7 files) – I have seen WSI install and not put the files in.

Also in the push.i2c there is a line =yes change it to =no

The not found can come from to tools files missing, the 9455.i2d file missing/wrong name or the flash on the unit not found (wrong slot or broken)

    Cheers,
    -TT

Alright, I did what you suggested and it didn’t work.
    (all 7 files were fine)
so i played around with the flash unit like you suggested.
i moved it over to the secondary ide channel and it worked
(i still got the peer error, but the units screen shows the 0-100 status bars working.
    the program said success.
just moved the flash back and entered the default bios password to change my boot options, and i’m good.
