On the Xpe 941GXL there are two auto time updates. One from Netron that have set server sites and internet tab on the date icon. The inter net tab one can input a company time server but the date has to correct to work.
Is there a program or reg fixes that the time and date will be corrected by the time server?

You can use the Neutron tool. Just edit the neutron.ini and add your timeserver.
The MS tool does not work as in most cases the time difference is more than 24 hours. There are registry tweaks to overcome this.
Let me know if you need them.

If you download the XP Example packages from the XP downloads there are some sample scripts the show you how to use the local windows time service and over come the issue with it not syncing when the time is out by more than a day,

Yes I would like the registry tweaks to overcome this time 24 hour problem.

    Here are the regkeys

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesW32TimeConfig]
    “UpdateInterval”=dword:00000064
    “MaxNegPhaseCorrection”=dword:ffffffff
    “MaxPosPhaseCorrection”=dword:ffffffff

but as TT already stated, they are also in the XPe Download section in the demo scripts (last download).

Have already pushed a time update to Xpe devices. But how would you change the timezone via script?

As mentioned above, the XPe examples download contains samples of how to set up timezones remotely and set the windows time server.

Check it out, its very cool,

if you live in the US and are going to use the time script then I will save you some time figuring out the code as there was no prior instructions for this. Or at least none that I could find.

in the rsp, you can change the line

    EX “z:settz /i 4″”+”

The number relates to the time zone in this line. so if you wanted to change your timezone to US Eastern, you would change that number from 4 to 35. below is a list of parameters for the US timezones.

    Settz Time zones parameters

    50 – Atlantic Standard Time
35 – US Eastern ST (EST)
    20 – Central ST (CDT)
    15 – Arizona time (AZ)
    10 – Mountian time (MDT)
    4 – Pacific ST (PST)
