Hi! This may seem like a basic question but what is the easiest way to set the time server to a network time server on 3125 devices? Preferably without having to visit the Terminals individually! I also don’t want to re-image all of them if possible! I’ve used a Registry hack for our 9150 devices!

    Thanks

    Hi,

You could use WDM to pull a device config and then edit it so it only has the SNTP server in the file (leave the header in there)

You could also try using a DHCP option tag for a time server, I have not tried this but it should work,

    Cheers,

Dose anyone know this Option tag? Each of our sites are broken into a subnet 10.100.x.x It would be great to have each site just “know” what timezone it is in so that if a terminal had the wrong zone, it would adjust.

    Hi,

it is option tag 4, but I don’t think CE based units will take this.
    Tell us your findings.
