    Hey everybody,

We manage our thin clients through the Dell Cloud Client Manager (Dell Management Portal), and the thin clients are supposed to check-in periodically to show they are connected.

The thin client requires at least network, power, and it has to be turned on to check in every few minutes. In order to sign into the thin client, we use an Active Directory which also requires network.

So we have this thin client that will not check in, even though students are able to log in. Which means it has network and power to log into the Active Directory. It also is accessing the CCM policies (it has no local policies).

I know this is not support for Dell Cloud Client Manager, but I think this is a problem with the thin client itself.

    OS Version
    Wyse Xenith (2.0_411)

Do you have any chance to update to 2.0_512 which is the latest?

I do, in fact I was about to update all of our thin clients firmware. I’ll post back once I do that.

Hello again. I have now updated 2.0_512 and it seems to be checking in whenever I send queries. I also wiped it through CCM, and reset it to factory defaults manually. No exactly sure which one did the trick but it seems to be working now. Thanks!
