Hi Guys,
We’re recently going through the deployment of a heap of T50 terminals and appear to be having some issues with the ICA portion of the created connections.
We’ve successfully gotten the devices pulling down the configs with all the custom settings over FTP and have also managed to upgrade them all to 20120203-0_U-1.027 firmware. This fixed several issues for us with our RDP connections and consistent drop outs. It does appear though with this latest firmware that upon launching the configured ICA connection that we’re prompted with the following message:
Message titled – “Citrix Receiver”
Veryify the configuration file
The file “/home/admin/.ICAClient/appsrv_Citrix Desktop.ini” may compromise security with the line “CDMAllowed=On”
Now I understand that this relates to drive mapping from the server, but it appears that we cannot suppress this prompt. Clicking on “OK” proceeds to connect the user to the ICA connection, however we would like to not have the user alerted with such prompts.
Any advice on how to suppress this?
Cheers.
July 1, 2013 at 10:57 am #24023I have uploaded a fix for this.
To install the addon do the following:
place the addon in wyse/addons FTP/HTTP folder and install with newaddons=remove-cdmallowed_1_all.deb INI parameter in your wlx.ini.
The addon can be downloaded here:

December 9, 2015 at 3:37 pm #42306Hello ConfGen,
I’m configuring a T520 Thin Client and I’m facing an error similar.
The exact one is this:
Citrix Receiver
Verify the configuration file
The file “/tmp/citrix/{xxxxx.ica” may compromise security with the line
“CDMAllowed=On”.
And following this other:
Citrix Receiver
Verify the configuration file
The file “/tmp/citrix/{xxxxx.ica” may compromise security with the line
“UpdatesAllowed=On”.I’ve tried to download your addon but an error msg telling that page does not exists appears.
Would be possible get that addon?
Thanks in advance
