XenDesktop is configured using Windows XP VDIs. (This was tested with Windows 7 VDIs and this issue does not appear)
T50 has been flashed with two newer versions. Current version is 20120203-0_U_1.021 which was provided by Wyse support.

Here’s the problem. When it was on the older versions the RDP links would load from the wlx.ini on the FTP server. Now they do not with this new version. This however is not the primary issue.

Up until the .021 version I could not get a connection to XenDesktop at all. Now I can see the ‘XP Group’ but when I click it to login all I get is a blink and then nothing. I can see on the Xenserver and in vCenter where the VM logs in, stays that way for a short time, and then shuts down as though the connection has been broken.

Just to try I logged in to a VDI using the web browser on my laptop with no problem as usual. Then when I attempted to connect via the T50 it took over the session immediately and worked as it should.

What I can’t figure out (and support hasn’t been much help) is why it is not passing the authentication properly to the XenDesktop server. It seems that once the authentication has already happened (in this case via the web browser) that it will then connect.

With this new version I’m not even sure of the proper syntax for the wlx.ini anymore. I’ve seen so many different versions and I have even tried to use the generator on this site (awesome tool by the way) with no luck. Pasted below is the ini we are using. The Citrix settings so far have been applied locally on the T50 I am using to test as I have had zero success getting it to load from the ini file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’ve been working on this for some time with no luck.

    **BEGIN INI**

Does it work from the T50 when connecting through the Chrome browser?

You should contact Wyse Support again. There is a 1.022 available and it looks like this one is fixing the issue – but I haven’t tested, so cannot confirm.
