    Hi

    I’m a new Wyse user (whe have actually only HP thin clients with Windows CE) and discover all the functioning of the ThinOs environment.
    Difficult but with you super tools it’s a little easier πŸ™‚

    Actually I test the T10 model and have some difficulties:

    – How can I simply save personnal logon settings for every users on the rdp config files without loosing it after a reboot?

    I read that we can use “username.ini” file but at when starting the T10, the username seems to be by default “start” -> creating a start.ini
    This work but don’t respond to my request because all T10 have the same default user……

    The second option was “mac.ini” (very heavy to manage but answer my need). I create a file (with mac generatot tools) for testing but the file was never used as i see in the logs. Is the T10 compatible to this option?

    The T10 is a recent model and to find specific informations is very hard.

    Thanks for you help

    Can you post your wnos.ini?
    Read the “INI File Handling” doc in the Products-WTOS section.

    Edit:

    It works now with $mac, i delete the ini extension from the mac address file and it works. But I get another bug, I configure the “mac” file with 2 rdp connection and only the second appears on the T10.

    CONNECT=RDP
    Host=ts.xxx.fr
    Description=”TSE MAC1 XXX”
    Icon=icone.gif
    Colors=true
    Fullscreen=yes
    UniSession=yes
    LowBand=yes
    UnmapPrinters=yes
    UnmapSerials=yes
    Mapdisks=yes
    Disablesound=Yes
    UnmapUSB=yes
    LocalCopy=no

    CONNECT=RDP
    Host=ts.yyy.fr
    Description=”TSE MAC2 YYY”
    Icon=icone.gif
    Colors=true
    Fullscreen=yes
    UniSession=yes
    LowBand=yes
    UnmapPrinters=yes
    UnmapSerials=yes
    Mapdisks=yes
    Disablesound=Yes
    UnmapUSB=yes
    LocalCopy=no

    Exit=all

    My first question is always open about the logon saving if someone as another solution πŸ˜‰

    There is no way to save individual user credentials in the RDP session.
    Some questions:
    Why do you have the following in your wnos.ini?
    – LanguageBar=yes Language=
    – Pnliteserver=pnliteserver
    – Exit=all

    Ok thanks for the answer.

    For incomplete/incosistent settings it’s because I test all options in your software. I search all options I can use and want to see if it works on the T10 (some options doesn’t work for this model)

    PS: very helpfull your answers on all topics πŸ˜‰

    OK, so you removed the above 3 settings now?
    The client is reading in the wnos.ini AND the mac.ini now but still only shows 1 RDP session?

    Yes, if on the “mac.ini” I have exit=all, only 1 rdp (instead 2) , if exit=yes, 3 rdp (instead 4)
    And there is always the second that appears.

    So it looks like you found the issue. For sure you have some hidden characters in your ini file.
    Either use a different editor to make them visible or rewrite the ini completely.
