Can anybody tell me if it is possible to configure an S10 to connect over the Internet to a Secure Gateway server without using a WNOS.ini file? I can see that you can specify a PNAgent/Lite server locally which I assume I could point to https://mycsg.mydomain.com but I can’t see how to import a root certificate?

Basically I need to know the best/cheapest choice of Wyse terminal to buy for providing to users so that they can access published apps from home. I’m pretty sure that the Windows CE devices would work OK for this but just wondered if the S10 could be configured?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

this is possible but you have to import the certificate once. This can only be done via wnos.ini but the cert is stored on the unit afterwards even if the wnos.ini is no longer available.

Thanks for that info. Using a one off WNOS.INI would definitely be a possibility. Just one last question, what if the S10 would be sitting behind a proxy server? Can it be configured to use a proxy – I can’t see anything in the documentation.

I’m thinking I’m going to be better off going with the Windows CE version which has IE and all the settings that go with it available.

    Thanks.
