I am trying to configure a thin client through SNMP manipulation.

Here is a complete list of all the settings you are able to change through SNMP.

I have figured out some of the basic ones like turning on DHCP auto updates on & off, and Rebooting however in my testing I am unable to change the ICA HotKey defaults through SNMP.

Does anyone have experience with this? Or have any ideas to try out?

    Hi Paintchip,

The DHCP auto upgrade is really useful but would it not be easier to just bundle the changes for the ICA hot keys and send them to the device?

Pull a config with Rapport, open up the settings.reg and search until you find the hot keys. edit out all the other information except the regfile headers and the hot keys. You can then use the bundle32.exe tool from Wyse to put the setting into a .bin

Sounds complex but it should not be that hard…

Also SNMP support will disappear from the devices at some stage so it will be useful not to use SNMP to do this. I would recommend sending reg files as bin’s rather than directly manipulating the registry with the Rapport agent anyway,
