I would like to change the BIOS password of about 300+ S30s to something other than “Fireport”, however due to the fact that these are at remote sites, I will need to accomplish this through some means other than going around to every desk and manually changing the password on every terminal.

I know it is possible to set the boot order of the S30 through the registry, and such registry settings can be bundled into an image. Is it also possible to do this with the BIOS password? If so, what is the registry key/value I need to add to my config?

Any help/information would be greatly appreciated.

Can you use WDM plus PXE to update your units?
This way you can extract just the BIOS from one unit and push it out to all others.
