Hi guys!
I’m trying to set the ftp server from WDM for a Xenith client. I’m looking at script builder but I can’t find wich command should I use. I need to configure some Xeniths automatically.
I also taking a look to use the DHCP options to make it work. So the first option should be the preferred.
Any help is welcome 🙂
Thanks in advance and best regards.
I am using option 186 to point my C30’s and D10D’s to the WDM server. The C30’s work only if the WDM Agent is updated to a version that reads option tags.
Typically you use option tag 161 to push out the IP from your ftp server to the Xenith clients.
There is no script command within WDM to do that.
You could enable the checkbox under WDM-Configuration Manager-Preferences-WTOS Preferences. This way WDM automatically sends out its own IP to the clients along with the folder wyse
